PUPPY PATCH

Runt of the Litter Gang
The Runt of the Litter Gang is a way we help raise money here at the Puppy Patch for dogs in need who have medical conditions. We help raise money for pups that come to the store, as well as pups that are now in their own environments. Here are a couple of stories that we can share that show what a success we have we the Runt of the Litter Gang thanks to all of the wonderful people that come in to visit our store.

Marshall!

Marshall was purchased from us in September of 2010. Him and his brother have the best home any pups can. Unfortunately, Marshall has a hereditary problem that cause his femurs to disintegrate. We are trying to raise money for his surgery. Please help donate for this family. He is a beautiful, loving dog who deserves nothing but to be as happy and comfortable as his brother. Thank you!

Piper!

Piper is a 4 lb Pomeranian who was sold in 2010 under great health. Unfortunately she jumped right out of the owners arms and broke her leg. They rushed her to the emergency vet who then put a metal plate in her leg and into a cast. The owner decided she was too much to care for medical and attention wise and bought her to us to find a better fitting home. A wonderful family from Waterbury could not resist her cuteness. They took her with 48 hours of her being here. At the moment we are trying to raise money to help them with the next surgery to remove the plate that will cost well over $1000. Otherwise, she barely pays attention to the cast and goes about as the happiest dog in the world!

Thank you to all who have helped with Piper. Her surgery date was set and we were able to raise almost $200 in the little time we had. Thanks again!

Angelina Ballerina!

Angelina is our first success story. She was born with a heart murmur. Fortunately she is a success as far as any medical care. She was adopted by a loving woman and still resides in Watertown. She has become such an angel and has bloomed since her puppy stages.

Evil Knievel!

Evil was born with a large opening on his skull, like most Chihuahuas are. He is a mixed Chihuahua Pug who is very spunky. He does not need his helmet anymore because the hole closed up! He recently visited the Puppy Patch and boy has he grown!!! Thank you for the help in caring for him.

Sammy!

Sammy was a handsome Lhasa. Unfortunately he had epileptic seizures and passed a few years back. The vets did everything they could to help make his short life comfortable. Without the help of the wonderful people who enjoy our store he would not have been as comfortable as he was. Thank you for everything that was done to both the ones who donated as well as the vets who tried.
